Do not talk about maritime security, talk with maritime security

Members of EUMSEA collectively believe that the maritime security industry is facing significant challenges that are not properly recognized across the globe. Threats are not limited to Piracy only and include (eco)-terrorism, attacks with sea and air drones, attacks with sea- and limpet mines, state and non-state actors, information security and critical maritime infrastructure. All these security threats are evolving continuously and we want to contribute to the debate on how to deal with these.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to be the ‘go to’ Association for the European Union, National Governments, International Alliances and all other stakeholders to receive trusted advice related to the provision of legal, safe and fairly delivered (armed) security in the maritime domain.

To establish a trusted European Association whose members meet the highest ethical, moral and compliancy standards, promotes the interests of all of them and helps shape the discussions about maritime security industry
